Job DescriptionLocation: Luton, LU1 3PGHours of work: 37.5Contract Type: PermanentThe Sous Chef will play a key role in organising and overseeing all aspects of food production, with a strong focus on strategic planning to drive growth and profitability.This is a rare opportunity to join one of ISSs largest Defence contracts, working within a dynamic and high-profile environment.Job DescriptionThe role involves supervising and controlling meal production in line with budgetary requirements, while ensuring full compliance with client expectations, company policies, and statutory regulations.This is a significant operation encompassing a busy staff restaurant, a coffee shop, and regular hospitality services.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport all kitchen operations in the absence of the Head Chef/Chef ManagerMaintain food costs within budgetEnsure full compliance with company HSEQ policies and proceduresDeliver excellent customer service and uphold service standardsImplement company marketing and promotional activitiesControl and monitor food waste levelsReport equipment issues and adapt to maintain uninterrupted food serviceProfessional and Personal Competencies/QualificationsExperience in contract cateringAbility to manage and lead a teamExperience in hospitality and staff restaurant environmentsUK The CompanyISS is a world-leading workplace and facility management company, connecting people and places to make the world work better.
