We cater to children aged 1 to 5 years, with a small, dedicated group for our youngest learners. Job Description: Early Years Deputy Manager - Permanent We are looking for a dedicated and skilled full time Early Years Deputy Manager with a preferred background in both Montessori education and Special Educational Needs (SEN), to join our team. The successful candidate will work alongside the Nursery Manager to oversee daily operations, ensuring that each child receives high-quality care and education tailored to their individual needs. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate individual to positively impact the development of both children and staff in a Montessori setting. Key Responsibilities: Assist the Nursery Manager in leading a team of educators to deliver outstanding care and education based on Montessori principles and inclusive. Support team members in delivering best practices in early childhood education, fostering a collaborative and encouraging atmosphere. Engage in Montessori training, applying new knowledge and techniques to enhance classroom learning and child engagement. Liaise with parents to provide updates on childrens progress and address any inquiries or concerns effectively. Ensure all policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements are met, maintaining high standards of health, safety, and safeguarding. Qualifications and Experience: NVQ Level 3 (or above) in Early Years/Childcare or equivalent (required). Willingness to undertake Montessori training and embrace its educational philosophy. Working hours and salary expectations: Monday to Friday from 08:15 hrs to 17:00 hrs Pro rata holiday pay based on hours worked per year 5.6 weeks 3% Pension contribution to your wages Nursery is open for 45 weeks a year and is closed in August, 2 weeks during Christmas and 1 week in Easter.
