Slitting Operator Louth (LN11 Area)Our client, based in the Louth (LN11) area, is a leading European packaging company specialising in flexible and sustainable packaging solutions for some of the worlds most respected brands. They are currently recruiting for a Slitting Operator to join their production and warehouse team.The RoleAs a Slitting Operator, you will be responsible for the set-up and operation of Universal Slitting Machines, ensuring production runs efficiently, safely and to the highest quality standards.Key Responsibilities:Setting up and running Universal Slitting MachinesEnsuring the slitter operates at optimum efficiency, following set procedures and quality standardsRemoving reels as directed and packaging them in line with customer specificationsMaintaining full product traceability and compliance to auditable standardsRecording all inputs and outputs throughout the processEnsuring all KPIs across Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and Cash are achieved on a shift-by-shift basisSupporting grinding and pelletisation processes where requiredCarrying out manual handling duties, including lifting up to 25kgCandidate Specification:Previous experience within a warehouse, production or manufacturing environmentStrong work ethic with the drive and passion to succeedExcellent attention to detailOrganised, motivated and able to work calmly and methodicallyKeen to learn all aspects of the printing and slitting processGood teamwork and communication skillsComfortable working 12-hour shiftsHours of Work:12-hour shifts2 days ,2 nights / 4 days off(Shift patterns may include nights depending on production requirements)Pay Rate:£12.21 per hourIf this sounds like the role for you, apply now or contact Faye on 07907 865820 for more information.TPBN1_UKTJ
