As Payroll Officer & HR Support, you will manage the payroll function, including processing wages for all employees across two sites. You will oversee related tasks such as national insurance, tax, and pension contributions, ensuring the payroll process is administered accurately, efficiently, and on time. In addition, you will provide administrative support to the HR department.The role of Payroll Officer & HR SupportOversee and manage the end-to-end payroll process for weekly and monthly payroll across 2 sitesLiaise with HR to accurately receive and process all relevant documentation relating to new starters, leavers and any other contractual changesEnsure accuracy of pay, deductions, pensions, and benefits in line with legislationCalculation of employees statutory entitlements including SSP, SMP, SPP, and other leave-related paymentsEnsure RTI reports are made in accordance with HMRC deadlinesProvide accurate and timely monthly data analysisLiaise with the appointed pension provider to ensure pension schemes are managed in full compliance with scheme rules and specificationsSubmission of all relevant payroll reports to senior management accurately and on a timely basisLiaise with internal departments and external bodies (e.g., auditors, tax authorities, benefits providers) on payroll-related mattersRespond to employee payroll inquiries in a timely and professional mannerContribute to process improvements in payroll systems and workflows to enhance efficiency and accuracyAssist HR with administrative tasks including onboarding and drafting HR documentsThe ideal candidate for the role of Payroll Officer & HR SupportA solid background in payroll processing, preferably with experience using SageStrong IT skills to effectively manage payroll systems and dataExcellent analytical capabilities to generate precise and insightful reports, ensuring seamless payroll operations and complianceTo ApplyIf you feel you are a suitable candidate and would like to work for Benjamin Edwards, please do not hesitate to apply.TPBN1_UKTJ
