Assembly Manager

Guidance Marine is a leading provider of position reference sensors for Dynamic Positioning (DP) and vessel control systems. As we enter a new era as a standalone company, we are strengthening our business to drive growth, and are looking for an experienced Production Manager to lead the Assembly Team at our Leicester site. In this key leadership role, you’ll take full ownership of team management, operational efficiency, and strategic direction to drive performance and ensure excellence in production.ResponsibilitiesFull accountability for delivering and meeting business objectives in Assembly.Day to day management of the Assembly Team, supported by Team Leaders.Monitoring, tracking, and reporting of required KPIsMonitoring production costs and finding opportunities for improvementAccountability for the quality of all assembled material, ensuring we continue to achieve a high 'First Time Right' ratePromote a healthy attitude to health and safety compliance, ensuring our workplace remains a safe place for allFacilities management to create or improve production spaces as neededDevelop, achieve, and maintain a high 'On-time, in full' production rate to ensure internal and external customer requirements are met.RequirementsProven experience of best practice improvement techniques and processes e.g. Lean, Continuous Improvement approachesExcellent communication skills to collaborate across teamsLeadership experience in guiding a dedicated team with a culture of collaboration and the highest standards of qualityIf you are passionate about driving performance and ensuring excellence in production, we'd love to hear from you!
