Commercial Account Handler/Executive£35,000 - £40,000 | Loughborough | Permanent We’re partnering with a well-established independent insurance broker in Loughborough who are looking for a knowledgeable and motivated Commercial Account Handler/Executive to manage a portfolio of SME to mid-sized clients across a variety of sectors. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone confident in servicing, renewals, re-broking, and maintaining strong client relationships. You’ll also have the chance to contribute to business development from existing clients and referrals — no cold calling required. Key Responsibilities:Manage and develop a portfolio of commercial clients, handling renewals, MTAs, and day-to-day queriesRe-market policies and negotiate with insurers to secure the best terms and coverageAdvise clients on suitable cover across a range of commercial lines, including property, liability, motor, and packagesEnsure all documentation is accurate, compliant, and delivered to a high standardBuild and maintain trusted relationships with both clients and underwriters The Ideal Candidate:Proven experience as a Commercial Account Handler or Executive within the insurance industryStrong technical knowledge across a variety of commercial insurance productsConfident in client communication and insurer negotiationOrganised, professional, and driven to deliver excellent client outcomesCert CII qualified or working towards (desirable but not essential) Package:Competitive salary: £35,000 – £45,000 depending on experience, flexible for the right candidateOffice-based role in a collaborative and supportive team environmentWork for a respected, client-focused brokerage with a strong local reputationExcellent opportunities for continued professional development and career progression
