We also promote positive health and wellbeing by offering free access to healthcare, our popular YuLife app, our Cycle to Work scheme and more!As a Sales Assistant / Delivery Driver based ina brand new branch we are opening in Leicester youll be responsible for: Driving a 3.5T van delivering plumbing and heating supplies to our customers in the local area.Serving customers on the trade counter by understanding their specific needs and providing product recommendationsResponding to customer enquiries via phone & email promptly and courteously, with a proactive attitudeProactively contacting customers to build relationships and drive branch sales particularly focusing on customers with reduced or inactive spendingAssisting with general warehouse duties including picking & packing customer orders, unpacking and putting away deliveries which will involve manual handling of heavy items e.g. boilers, radiators, sinks and toiletsEnsuring high standards are maintained in the branchThis is a full time permanent role working 40 hours per week Monday - Friday between 07.30am - 5.00pm xjdpvnf and Saturdays on a rota basis 8.00am - 12.00pm.And heres what wed like you to have:Full UK Driving Licence is essentialPrior industry experience would be advantageousPrevious Face to Face customer service is essentialPrior warehouse experience would be idealWillingness to work as a part of a team and to take on a diverse roleProactive and eager to learn, demonstrating a positive attitude and strong work ethicProficient in computer skillsTo be comfortable lifting heavy itemsWe look forward to receiving your application!
