We are looking for an experienced Field Service Engineer to join our fast-paced team.Unlike many engineering roles, we value your downtime. This position offers a genuine work-life balance with no weekend work and no on-call rotas.Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical Maintenance: Perform LOLER testing, PPM servicing, and repairs on medical equipment (assisted baths, hoists, slings, wheelchairs).Rapid Response: Attend breakdown callouts to diagnose and repair complex electrical and mechanical faults.Installation: Installation of medical equipment, including ceiling hoists and assisted baths.Chemical Dosing Equipment: Installation and maintenance of laundry dosing equipment (training will be provided).Client Relations: Act as a professional face of the company, maintaining excellent relationships with our care home and healthcare clients.Efficiency: Manage your van stock and tools to ensure high first-fix rates.Key RequirementsExperience: Minimum of 3 years in a field service or maintenance engineering role.Industry Expertise: Willingness to learn how to install and maintain laundry dosing equipment, and install ceiling hoist track systems and assisted bathing equipment.Electrical Expertise: A strong working knowledge of electrical equipment and circuitry is essential.
