Water Fittings Enforcement Specialist

Job DescriptionOur team is responsible for upholding the Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations 1999 by conducting thorough inspections of non-household premises to ensure adherence to these regulations.Role holders are subject matter experts in regulatory compliance and enforcement, playing a pivotal role in stakeholder engagement and education. They must communicate effectively with customers regarding non-compliance issues, outlining required actions, priorities, and agreed timescales for resolution.Prevent waste, misuse, and contamination of drinking water suppliesCarry out planned and reactive inspections of plumbing and water usage systemsManage and schedule a variety of inspections and auditsSupport enforcement actions and prosecutions in collaboration with technical teamsAct as a subject matter expert on WFR, providing technical guidance and reporting accurate regulatory dataRequired Skills and QualificationsEssential qualifications include Plumbing accreditation: City and Guilds or equivalent NVQ level. Desirable installation experience includes experience in domestic or commercial plumbing, gas fitting, or heating engineering.
