Water Systems Compliance Specialist

Water Fittings Inspector RoleThis position involves ensuring the accurate measurement and protection of water systems connected to our distribution network.Prevent waste, misuse, and contamination of drinking water supplies by verifying accurate measurement and safeguarding water systems.Conduct both planned and reactive inspections of plumbing and water usage systems to guarantee compliance with the Water Fittings Regulations (WFR).Effectively communicate with customers regarding non-compliance issues, outlining required actions, priorities, and agreed timescales for resolution.Manage and schedule a variety of inspections and audits, prioritising tasks efficiently.Collaborate with technical teams on enforcement actions and prosecutions.Act as a subject matter expert on WFR, providing technical guidance, reviewing complex drawings, engaging stakeholders through education, and reporting accurate regulatory data.Our ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge and practical application of the Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations 1999.
