Job DescriptionMCS Group are working with the Western Health and Social Care Trust to recruit a Project Manager to support the Assistant Director of Financial Accounting and Contracts with a wide range of new and existing projects. This is a great opportunity for a Project Manager to build experience in the public sector, within a large organisation. The roleAs a Project Manager, you will lead in project management, providing expert advice and direction in the development and implementation of plans to address existing and emerging challenges. You will work with Service Leads within the Finance function to support service improvements. Priorities within the role will include:A quality improvement project in relation to the Direct Payments Finance ServiceLead in quality improvement initiatives within the Financial Assessments ServiceLead in establishing superfunds for Endowment and Gifts and the registration of funds with the NI Charities CommissionLead on the development of a computerised system for the application and approval of expenditure from Endowments and Gifts FundLead in reviewing the service delivery model for Corporate AppointeeshipThe personYou will be an experienced Project Manager, with strong knowledge of project management tools and methodologies. You will be able to demonstrate the following:Have at least a degree or equivalent qualification, with 3 years relevant experience working within a Finance Department OR 5 years' relevant experience within a Finance DepartmentExperience leading/contributing to service quality improvement projects achieving clearly defined outcomesExcellent working knowledge of the Microsoft suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OutlookHold a current full driving licence with use of a car.
