Job purpose Our loyalty scheme manages the Avios currency, which millions of customers collect and spend every year, through our range of loyalty programmes. We offer customers many different ways to collect and spend Avios, from using our branded credit cards, shopping, or heading off on holiday, with over 125 different partners. In addition to working with world class partners, we also create proprietary Avios collection and spend products and services fully managed on our platforms, and are embarking on a journey to build out our owned channels through and our Avios App. We know that creating engaging and effective content in our channels and through our proprietary products is a key part of building a great customer experience and ultimately driving business value. As we expand our owned channels, we’re looking for someone to set and execute on a strategy for using content to drive search-engine and app-store optimisation, product conversion and long-term customer engagement, in line with our ambition to build the world’s best loyalty website and App. What you’ll be doingYou will lead a team consisting of 1 permanent Content Manager and 2 contract content rolesYou will resource, develop and lead our Content team to ensure we have the right skillsets and focus on copywriting, UX writing, SEO, ASO and content managementYou will set out the content strategy to deliver against our product, channel and business goals You will lead a team to plan, generate and publish content and copy across all channels in line with company content calendars, product priorities, marketing plans and your wider content strategyYou will work with marketing to ensure we’re using a consistent tone of voice and messaging across our digital customer touchpoints You will prioritise content work to ensure resource capacity is focussed on the highest value output, communicating with stakeholders to ensure transparencyYou will work with relevant Data teams to ensure we have the right reporting in place to measure the impact of content in line with its intended goalYou will work with Product and Data teams to build out a personalised content strategy over time, iterating and learning as we goYou will be accountable for our content tooling, set-up and related processes, including CMS and DAMYou will own the content lifecycle- ensuring content is up-to-date and ready for use across multiple touchpointsWhat we’re looking forWith a smaller creative team, this is a multi-faceted content role, and we are looking for someone who is eager for a broad role where they can take ownership and have a real impactForward-thinking approach to AI integration, with a clear understanding of how emerging technologies will reshape traditional rolesProactively champions AI adoption, guiding the team in exploring and applying intelligent tools to drive efficiency and innovationCreates content with an authentic, human-centred tone that builds trust and connection with audiencesWe recognise that with the breadth of the role, you may not have experience across every aspect. Experience in some or all of the following is beneficial: content management, copywriting, UX writing, SEO, ASO.Experience leading and line managing content teams Experience of delivering content to multiple digital channels Strong knowledge of content tooling and its effective use – we use Contentful as our CMS and Bynder as our DAM Experience in delivering personalised content Experience working within an agile product organizationYou’ll be passionate about your area of expertise, keeping abreast of current/ future trends and best practice in digital and content designYou will be open and collaborative, with the ability to work with and positively influence stakeholdersStrong focus on equity, diversity and inclusion to drive the highest performing teamsExperience within travel is a plus
