EHS Advisor

At Dornan we are currently recruiting for an Senior EHS Advisor to join one of our projects based in Central LondonYour day to day will include:Conduct regular formal site audits and carry out inspections as directed in the Safety Management systemCommunicate findings of the audits to site management and assist in the closure of issuesEnsure the delivery of health and safety inductions for all new employees or contractorsEnsure sub-contractor safety documents are produced and available on site, relevant and in accordance with best practice and current legislationAdvise/assist the Site/Project Management team in drafting and communicating method statements for high-risk activitiesSupport the site management in ensuring the records of statutory inspections are kept for all activities and plant equipmentAssist in incident/accident investigation reporting and filingAdvise on personal protection equipment required by Dornan employeesServe as Dornan representative at site meetings when requestedManage the Toolbox Schedule for the project including attendance recordsCompile and communicate site emergency plans in conjunction with the site managers teamAdvise site management on the first aid requirements for the projectGive advice to site management on training requirements for each projectInform and assist site management on the preparation of the safety file for handover to the client at the end of the projectWhat we are looking for:Nebosh/Iosh Ability to priorities workloadRecognises own strengths and weaknesses and committed to ongoing developmentAcceptance of responsibility and accountabilityWhy Dornan?Our commitment to our employees development - we offer career progression pathways, always seeking opportunities to promote and upskill our people.Health & Wellbeing - Fostering health and wellbeing is paramount to creating a supportive and inclusive work environment.
