Senior Quantity Surveyor

We are currently seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor on a Permanent basis, working hybrid out of our clients London office. ResponsibilitiesContract management of multiple contracts under NEC3/4, JCT & bespoke contractMeasurement and valuations of works for applications, variations and final accounts with both clients and suppliers.Identification & notification of Early Warnings and Compensation EventsEnsure all contracts, up and down supply chain, are fit for purposeProvide Cash Flow ForecastsCVR creation and managementEstablishment and chair of monthly project reviewsManaging the dispute and defects process with the Client and SubcontractorsAttend Client progress meetings.Follow procedures for Client work approvalProvide innovative ideas and continuous improvementSupporting development of the wider commercial team across Freedom’s Network Services business. Qualifications/SkillsA degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or other related discipline (can be substituted by a relevant HNC and suitable experience)Previous experience in a Senior Quantity Surveyor or similar role A well-developed understanding of various forms of contract, in particular NEC3/4, with the ability to apply these skills in a practical fashion to live projectsGood MS Excel skills including the use of look ups and pivot tables.
