Abuelita’s Wellbeing is a holistic health studio in Hackney offering massage, movement, and community care. We're seeking a creative volunteer to support our social media and content strategy to grow our impact and tell our story.What difference will you make?The Impact You’ll HaveYour work will help shape how people discover, understand, and connect with the care we offer. Yet too often, people fall through the cracks of an overstretched system.By helping us grow our online presence, you’ll make it easier for more people to find a space where their wellbeing is truly listened to — where chronic pain, nervous system overwhelm, and emotional stress are met with science-based therapies and genuine care.We’re currently focused on expanding support for refugee women and vulnerable groups through free community events, 1 1 care, and collaborations with local partners. But we’re also here for private clients — many dealing with pain, fatigue, burnout, or just a feeling of being lost in today’s fast-moving world.The more visible we are, the more people we can support — from running massage days for women seeking asylum to welcoming someone who’s been waiting months for help through the NHS.This role is about helping us share what we already do well with a wider audience, in a way that’s warm, creative, and clear. Whether it’s helping someone discover pain relief, reconnect with their body, or feel welcomed into a space of care, your work will ripple far beyond the screen.We’re not here to replace systems. We offer holistic, science-informed therapies to support nervous system regulation, chronic pain relief, and long-term wellbeing. Our services range from massage and craniosacral therapy to movement classes, acupuncture, and wellbeing events. We combine clinical skill with deep care and social purpose, with a strong focus on underserved communities — including refugee women and people navigating trauma, chronic illness, or burnout.The RoleWe’re looking for a creative, playful, and organised volunteer to join us as a Social Media & Content Creator. This is a part-time, remote role with flexible hours and clear guidance from Simona, the founder of Abuelita’s.You’ll help us grow our online presence, share our story, and build an engaged, kind-hearted community around holistic health.
