Performance Insights Analyst

We are seeking a Performance Insights Analyst to join a forward-thinking investment management team.In this key role, you will support the production of performance and management information (MI) reports, providing valuable insights into investment performance for both internal teams and external clients. You'll have the chance to work with cutting-edge tools like Power BI, Power Query, Python, and advanced Excel, while ensuring compliance with Investment Performance standards such as GIPS.Joining an experienced team of Analysts, working on a hybrid model where you’d spend 2 days a week on-site in the Central London office. You’d be joining a company who love modern technologies and practices, they give their Analyst time to upskill and love to fund any certifications, courses, books, meet-ups etc..Key Responsibilities:Performance Reporting: Prepare and deliver high-quality performance and MI reports, ensuring accuracy and timely submission to clients and stakeholders.Process Automation & Tool Development: Enhance reporting efficiency by automating processes and leveraging BI tools and advanced software solutions.Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to refine and streamline reporting processes, driving automation to increase data accuracy and reduce manual workload.Collaboration: Work closely with IT, Operations, and other internal teams to implement automation solutions and optimize performance reporting systems.Dashboard & Analytics Creation: Design and implement interactive dashboards to track key performance metrics and generate actionable insights for senior leadership.Change Management: Lead change management initiatives for process improvements, ensuring smooth adoption through training and clear communication.Investment Attribution: Provide support in performance attribution analysis, ensuring reports meet both internal and client requirements.Overview:Experience in Investment Performance, Data Analytics, or a related field.Strong understanding of Fund Administration, NAV production, and performance measurement methodologies.Expertise in building interactive dashboards using tools like Power BI, Tableau, and advanced Excel.Proven experience in automating processes with tools like Power Automate, SQL, and VBA.Knowledge of performance attribution and the analysis of investment portfolio data.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to distill complex performance data into actionable insights for stakeholders.A problem-solving mindset, with the ability to tackle complex challenges and implement creative solutions.Familiarity with ESG reporting and experience using platforms like FactSet B-One is a bonus.If you’d like to learn more about this opportunity please click the APPLY button and a Spencer Scott Consultant will be in touch.Spencer Scott Ltd is an equal opportunity Recruitment Agency, which means we do not discriminate on the basis of race, colour, religion, marital status, age, national origin, ancestry, physical or mental disability, medical condition, pregnancy, genetic information, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression.
