We have a unique opportunity for a candidate with recent experience in the Catastrophe Insurance field, who also has an academic science background ( Masters or PHd) in Climate Change, Flooding, Geology or a similar area of study, to join this Lloyd's Syndicate in a high profile Research and Validation role.They are offering a salary upto £85000 plus an excellent range of benefits This role is immediately available and is based in their City of London offices 3 days per week and 2 days at home.Focusing on reviewing Catastrophe Modelling output , in order to offer succinct and validated information to the Underwriters, Company as a whole and external interested parties.This will probably suit someone who has worked on similar projects in order to research, analyse and validate Catastrophe models for possible future Catastrophe exposures within the Lloyd's market. Strong written and verbal communications skills are key, as you will be presenting to a wide variety of internal and external.Ideally you will have experience of Verisk or RMS . You will also have technical knowledge of Microsoft SQL server.
