In-House CounselOne of our renowned global law firm clients is recruiting a Part-time In-House Counsel to join their London office on an initial 12-month fixed-term contract.Generous Salary12-month fixed-term contractPart-Time (flexible: 2 or 3 days a week)Hybrid working (3 office days in the office per month)We’re seeking England & Wales qualified individuals to provide expert legal guidance on corporate matters, contract negotiations, and regulatory compliance. This opportunity is ideal for a highly skilled legal professional who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.In-House Counsel Key Responsibilities:Draft, review, and negotiate contracts on behalf of the firmWork closely with the firm’s Knowledge, Management and Operations teams to review, design and maintain appropriate company precedents, practice notes, policies, and proceduresProvide timely advice on a variety of legal and compliance topics that relate to the firm and its business servicesCommunicate with third-party bodies such as external counsel and the firm’s insurers, including coordinating the annual PII and bulk practising certificate renewal applicationsConduct legal research and analysis, keeping up to date with changes to laws, rules, and regulations that directly affect the firmSupport the firm’s conflicts and compliance team in relation to client onboarding procedures and file reviewsIn-House Counsel Skills & Requirements:England & Wales qualified (5+ PQE)Prior experience working in law firm compliance or an in-house legal positionProven working knowledge of contract, competition and data protection law and litigation procedureStrong legal drafting skills and written and verbal communication skillsAbility to identify, assess, and manage legal, regulatory and compliance risks affecting the business
