Their mission is to maximise value for their clients through strategic collaborations and innovative revenue-generating opportunities.Following the UC3 tender process, Relevent Football Partners was awarded the commercial rights to the UEFA men’s club competitions (Champions League, Europa League and Conference League) on a global basis for the 2027 to 2033 cycle.As such, Relevent Football Partners is now seeking to build a truly world class business focused on the monetisation of these commercial rights.Role OverviewReporting into the Senior Counsel, you will play a key role in the commercial legal team ensuring robust support for tender processes and the negotiation and execution of media rights, partnership, and licensing contracts globally across the UEFA Men’s Club Competitions. You will work closely with the media, commercial strategy, and sales teams to deliver these processes and deals alongside UC3.Key Responsibilities include:Supporting the senior members of the Legal department in providing dedicated legal support for the Media and Commercial teams, primarily through assisting with the management of tender processes and negotiating industry leading agreements.Supporting the strategy and sales teams in the planning and execution of successful deal structuring and strategy.Assist the relevant relationship management teams in the life-cycle management of multiple licensees and their agreements.Advising on day-to-day queries that arise in respect of general commercial matters impacting the business.Working closely with members of the wider legal team and with the UC3 legal team to ensure effective collaboration and interaction. Working with and managing external legal counsel, as required.About YouThe successful candidate will be driven, ambitious, positive and hardworking, with a proactive approach.
