About the RoleOur client, a leading professional regulator, is seeking a Case Manager to join their Fitness to Practise (FtP) team on an ongoing temporary basis. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in protecting the public and maintaining professional standards within a respected organisation.As a Case Manager, you will manage a caseload of Fitness to Practise investigations, ensuring each case is progressed efficiently, fairly, and in line with regulatory requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesManage a portfolio of FtP cases from initial assessment through to resolution.Gather, analyse, and assess evidence to support decision-making.Liaise with complainants, registrants, witnesses, and legal professionals.Draft clear, accurate correspondence, reports, and case summaries.Monitor and progress cases in line with agreed timescales and regulatory standards.Contribute to the continuous improvement of case management processes.Person SpecificationEssentialPrevious experience of case management, investigations, or regulatory processes.Strong analytical and decision-making skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.DesirableExperience in a regulator, membership body, or public sector organisation.Understanding of Fitness to Practise or complaints handling procedures.What’s on OfferAn ongoing temporary position with a respected regulator.Hybrid working – 1–2 days per week in the office.Competitive pay rate.Valuable experience in the regulatory sector.Supportive and collaborative team environment.
