Electrical Construction ManagerMEP Contracting / Building ServicesPermanent or Freelance (CIS) We’re recruiting on behalf of a respected M&E contractor delivering a technically complex data centre project in West London (Acton). With over 18 months of work remaining, this is a long-term opportunity to join a live, fast-paced scheme as the on-site Electrical Construction Manager.Key Responsibilities:Lead and coordinate on-site electrical works, ensuring delivery against programme and technical requirements.Supervise subcontractors and manage productivity, progress, and quality control.Interpret and work from electrical drawings and specifications, raising queries as needed.Ensure appropriate materials, tools, and equipment are in place to meet project milestones.Drive a safety-first culture and ensure compliance with all health & safety procedures.Collaborate with the wider project team, including mechanical and civils leads, to ensure smooth coordination.Support handover process through quality checks, inspections, and final sign-offs.What’s on offer:Basic salary: £70,000 – £75,000£5,000 car allowancePrivate healthcare25 days holiday + bank holidaysEnhanced pension schemeLong-term project with secure pipeline of workRequirements:Strong experience delivering electrical packages on large-scale MEP projects (data centre, life sciences, commercial or healthcare preferred).Excellent knowledge of containment, cable routing, LV distribution, small power, and testing.Able to manage subcontractors, enforce quality, and meet site targets.Skilled at reading drawings, understanding site logistics, and identifying installation issues early.CSCS and SMSTS required.Electrical qualifications (City & Guilds or equivalent) highly desirable.
