Contentious Probate Associate- 2-4+ PQE Top Tier Legal 500 firmCity of London£60,000-£70,000A highly respected central London firm is looking for an experienced Solicitor of 2-4 PQE to join their expanding Contentious Probate team. They are ranked highly in Legal 500 for their complex work including high-value and cross-jurisdictional matters and appeals. The team is close-nit and works for a variety of HNW and UHNW clients on a national basis.This firm prides itself on it's good work/life balance and excellent progression, with good pathways up to Senior Associate and Partnership. Contentious Probate is one of this firm's areas of expertise with a team numbering over a dozen Legal Professionals with excellent support to a developing Lawyer. This is an fantastic opportunity for a Solicitor looking to progress their career up to a senior level.Key Responsibilities:Managing a caseload of contentious probate, contested wills, related appeals and other matters often with a HNW or cross-jurisdictional element,Assist and support mediation and litigated processes, resolving claims while ensuring client satisfaction,Assisting with the development of the team, including supporting business development and marketing efforts,Working closely with team Partners on matters of personal development and the development of the team and larger firm,Developing relationships and building a personal network of clientsDesired Skills and Experience:UK qualified Solicitor with 2-4 years PQE (other levels will be considered but are unlikely to succeed for this role),Demonstrated track record of high-quality contentious probate experience,Technically strong in advising clients in a variety of relevant matters,A team player with strong communication skills,Self-motivated with an interest in self development.This firm offers a highly competitive salary and bonus scheme, with a benefits package available on request.
