The overall aim of the role is to work with the Finance Director and Finance Associate to maintain and improve levels of financial planning, reporting and control. This is a maternity cover role.ResponsibilitiesTaking on the more complex client financial queries across all service lines.Liaising with the Clinical and Admissions teams to ensure financial processes are seamlessly joined up with other business processes.Prepare accurate and timely financial statements including monthly management accounts & balance sheet.Prepare weekly and monthly financial management information & KPI Reports.Preparing Shareholder returns/reports.Working with the Finance Director on ad hoc commercial analysis. Analyse financial performance, identify trends, and present actionable recommendations to senior leadership.Oversee accounts payable and payment runs.Review and oversee monthly payroll process file as prepared by the HR team and processed by the payroll bureau.Overseeing the VAT return (as prepared by the Finance Associate).Planning and carrying out testing of new systems (e.g. Xero changes/Orri Hub and new finance systems at the appropriate point).Ensure robust financial governance structures are in place to support compliance with financial regulations and other relevant accounting standards. Ensure financial risks are identified and managed.Supervise, mentor, and support the finance team.Oversee the year end process and the preparation of year end accounts.Overseeing the annual financial audit and tax computation.About Orri Orri is the leading provider of day treatment for eating disorders in the UK. Evidence strongly demonstrates that earlier intervention achieves better patient outcomes. Starting with one centre in central London and a full online service, our ambition is to grow new Orri centres across England, making intensive day treatment a new choice for those suffering with an eating disorder, their families and loved ones, and for those who commission/fund services on their behalf. The launch of Outpatient Services enables us to continue to walk alongside people as they navigate the next phase of their life in recovery. Outpatient also enables people to access treatment at an earlier stage, reducing the likelihood of them later requiring more intensive treatment through day-care or inpatient services. Job package: Job title: Finance ManagerStart date: End of January Salary: £55,000 -£60,000 Hours: 40 hours p/w Base: 80-81 Wimpole Street, London, W1G 9RE Contract type: Maternity Cover Annual leave: The basic annual leave entitlement in a full year is 33 days inclusive of bank holidays.
