Senior Business Development Manager

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Business Development Manager on behalf of our client, a highly regarded US law firm.This is a full-time, permanent position and the successful applicant will be responsible for driving and implementing strategic, revenue generating business development activities for the Private Equity and Finance practices in London. This will involve creating market leading initiatives aligned with firm global goals, to drive the business forward; and collaborating across the practice areas between the firm’s London and European offices, as well as with the US.Duties will include:Organising and driving client targeting programmesLeading and drafting content for cross-practice RFPs and pitches, including coordination with colleaguesGuiding lateral hires through the protocols of bringing in clients and integrating them into firm prioritiesFacilitating cross-selling opportunities across the firm, including crafting and executing a range of go-to-market strategiesConducting strategic research on potential clients, competitors, and practice developments to identify business trends and opportunitiesBuilding effective agendas for meetings, preparing materials and speakers, and project managing actionsCoordinating firm-hosted business development eventsFacilitating participation in sponsorships, conferences, memberships and other key profile-building opportunities for the office and individual lawyersManaging the workflow and performance of 2 direct reportsManaging the business development budget for the designated practice groupsThis is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned, senior BD Manager to join a thriving firm at a really exciting time.
