NQ - 2 PQE Leveraged Finance Associate

An opportunity has arisen for a junior associate to join the London leveraged finance team of an elite US law firm. The practice is recognised for advising leading investment banks, credit funds, and private equity sponsors on complex, cross-border leveraged finance transactions.This role offers exposure to high-value financings across a range of deal structures, working within a collaborative, high-performing team. Associates benefit from early responsibility, close partner support, and the chance to develop deep technical expertise in a fast-paced, intellectually stimulating environment.Key Responsibilities:Advise banks, alternative lenders, and private equity sponsors on a variety of leveraged finance transactionsDraft and negotiate loan agreements and related finance documentsSupport all aspects of deal execution, including structuring, due diligence, and closing processesCollaborate with colleagues across departments and offices to deliver coordinated adviceBuild and maintain strong client relationships through high-quality service and commercial insightRequirements:England & Wales qualified with up to 2 years’ post-qualification experience in a leading leveraged finance practiceSolid experience advising on sponsor-backed or lender-side financingsExcellent academic backgroundStrong attention to detail, commercial awareness, and communication skills
