Cross Works is seeking senior architects and senior urban designers to join its growing team in London.We are a friendly, enthusiastic and highly motivated collective, looking to grow sustainably to meet an increased demand across a number of sectors. The new recruits will work on large-scale international masterplanning schemes / megaprojects, and assist on architectural projects at a variety of scales and typologies, amongst other types of creative work.The following knowledge and capabilities will be required in order to be shortlisted for an interview:qualified senior architect/ urban designer with at least seven years of professional experience (i.e. in practice)excellent design skills with demonstrable experience on projects at multiple scales; experience on larger scale buildings, urban quarters and masterplans will be required for this roleability to lead a whole project, and delegate tasks to junior team members ability and flexibility to work across multiple projects if / when requiredexcellent command of Rhino is absolutely essential; whilst Revit knowledge is useful (but not essential)please note, that AutoCAD / Sketchup / Microstation / Vectorworks / ArchiCAD are not relevant for this roleability to use Adobe Creative Suite / MS Office is expected as standardparametric design skills are a bonus, whilst knowledge of GIS is beneficial; these are not essential howeverfriendly and conscientious, with strong communication skillsa passion for teamwork and collaborationCompetitive salary, dependent on experience and capabilities.This position will require working in an office environment in Camden, London (5 days per week).Remote / hybrid-working is not negotiable for this role.Eligibility to work in the UK is essential for this position.We are an equal opportunity employer and actively encourage applications from all those who fulfil the job description and eligibility above, regardless of sex, gender, orientation, nationality, ethnicity or age.Please send your CV, including a brief portfolio of key projects to showcase your work (maximum 10MB file size), and a few sentences outlining your motivations behind applying via the apply for job button below, or email directly to [email protected] without portfolios will not be considered.References may be required for shortlisted candidates so please provide these with your application if they’re available.Website :
