Role: Operational Risk AnalystIndustry: Commodities/ShippingLocation: Central London (hybrid)Salary: Up to £95k (depending on experience)A global supplier of marine fuel are offering the opportunity for an Operational Risk Analyst to join their growing middle office team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working in a risk, compliance or internal audit position in a relevant industry (eg commodities, shipping, bunkering).Key Responsibilities of the Operational Risk Analyst:Support the rollout of the Operational Risk Framework across commercial and operational areasReview and enhance policies to promote risk awareness and influence a strong risk cultureInvestigate incidents, identify control weaknesses and recommend improvementsLead initiatives to strengthen internal controls and drive risk mitigationIdentify and implement process efficiencies, leveraging automation where possibleMaintain and enhance business process documentation and controls via iServer, ensuring continuous improvementKey Requirements of the Operational Risk Analyst:Previous experience in commodity trading, shipping or bunkering with operational risk exposureExperience in risk and control processes within a business context, with a drive for improvementStrong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build and maintain relationships across all stakeholder levelsComfortable working with ambiguity and complex, evolving informationAdaptable, flexible and able to manage multiple priorities in dynamic environmentsNice to have: Experience working with ETRM systemsIf you have the necessary experience and would like to find out more, please apply for immediate consideration!
