Hybrid: 2 days working in office and 3 days working from home. The RoleAs a Loans Agency Associate, you'll take ownership of operational aspects for a dedicated portfolio of loans, serving as the primary point of contact for borrowers and lenders throughout the transaction lifecycle. This role offers excellent exposure to sophisticated financial instruments and the opportunity to develop deep expertise in loan administration and client relationship management. Key Responsibilities Transaction Management:Oversee drawdowns, rollovers, rate fixes, pre-payments, redemptions and maturities across your assigned portfolioProcess complex calculations including principal repayments, interest, commitment fees, and specialised events such as PIK and non-pro rata distributionsManage seamless funds flow between borrowers and lenders, ensuring accurate and timely settlements Systems & Operations:Utilise the system for data input and transaction processingExecute payments through and coordinate foreign exchange transactions when requiredGenerate and distribute critical notices to stakeholders within strict regulatory timeframesMaintain accurate account reconciliations and system updates Client Service Excellence:Handle sophisticated client queries with professionalism and technical accuracyManage transfer requests and novations, ensuring full compliance with transaction documentationProcess both clearpar and offline settlements with precisionCoordinate audit requests and provide comprehensive documentation support Risk Management & Compliance:Conduct thorough due diligence to identify potential fraud, money laundering, and reputational risksEnsure all activities comply with regulatory requirements and internal policiesEscalate relevant matters to senior team members in a timely manner What We're Looking For Essential Skills:Strong analytical and numerical abilities with exceptional attention to detailExcellent written and verbal communication skills for client interactionProven ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlinesExperience with financial systems and transaction processing (Solvas knowledge preferred)Understanding of loan documentation and banking operationsProficiency in reconciliation and payment processing Ideal Candidate Profile:Background in financial services, banking, or loan administrationExperience with traded debt instruments and loan admin or loans agency servicesStrong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesTeam playerProactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement Benefits & Development:Competitive salary up to £65,000Comprehensive benefits packageExcellent career progression opportunitiesExposure to high-profile transactions and blue-chip clientsProfessional development supportCollaborative team environment This role offers the perfect blend of technical challenge, client interaction, and career growth within the dynamic world of institutional lending.
