Interim Head of Corporate Facilities ManagementThe full job description covers all associated skills, previous experience, and any qualifications that applicants are expected to have.Based in London, hybrid (3 days per week onsite)Length: 6 months Inside IR35We are currently supporting a Local Authority client to recruit an interim Head of Corporate Facilities Management, who will join the team at an exciting time of significant transformation and change. Key Responsibilities of the Interim Head of Corporate Facilities Management include:Leading the delivery of the CFM service and supporting colleagues in their contract management of an under-performing outsourced providerFinalising the Councils strategy for replacing their outsourced provider, culminating in the presentation of a strategy report to cabinet in October 2025Leading the development of a new approach to statutory compliance across the Councils estatePlaying a significant leadership role in their Corporate Real Estate programme and a range of associated programmes and projects designed to better utilise the Councils estateExperience and knowledge required of the Interim Head of Corporate Facilities Management:A track record of leadership in facilities management, ideally within a local authority or similarly complex organisationPreviously led both in-house and outsourced service deliveryA people-centred approach to leadership and management, with experience of leading teams through uncertainty and change this is a high priority for the interim appointed to the assignmentExcellent technical knowledgeTo apply for this role or to find out about other jobs, please contact Daniel Williams on the London Local Government Recruitment team on 020 7557 7667 or send your CV to [email protected] Venn Groups Recommendation Scheme: if you recommend a candidate who is subsequently placed by Venn Group (for a minimum of 2 weeks) you will be eligible for vouchers from a choice of high street organisations
