We are committed to fostering an inclusive workplace that celebrates diversity and promotes equity, welcoming candidates of all backgrounds to thrive as part of our team and contribute to the business's success.What were looking forWere looking for an experienced and passionate audio-visual professional with a preferred background in audio who is keen to operate and coordinate teams to deliver technical solutions across various types of events, such as conferences, live streams, podcasts, etc.Youll work directly with the rest of the AV team, and our Production team, to provide best-in-class event production solutions for our clients.Youll channel your expertise to collaboratively manage and produce in-person, hybrid, and virtual events to ensure we deliver a streamlined experience. As one of our AV Technicians, you'll be at the heart of a fast-growing events team and wider London Filmed team with plenty of opportunities for professional growth.The roleThe role entails working with an internal team of Event Producers, Project Managers, Designers, and Video Producers as well as freelance production crew in the UK, US, and Europe to deliver audio, video and live-streaming solutions for our clients.DeliveryOperate and maintain professional video, lighting and audio equipmentManage physical inventoryTransport and setup of audio, video, and lighting equipment as requiredSome knowledge of vMix and other digital live-streaming applicationsProvide solutions for any complex technical or personnel challenges at eventsWork with an internal team of Event Producers, Project Managers, Designers, and Video Producers, and coordinate freelance production crewCoordinate crew and equipment as neededAbility to spot points of failure and have suitable contingencies in placeAssist staff with pulling, staging, and striking audio/visual equipment for eventsResolve and/or escalate issues in a timely fashionAbility to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfullyLocation and on-site managementAssess technical and on-site health and safety risks, be alert for live issues on event days and be primed to react accordinglyBest practicesFollow-up and feedback on internal processes and workflowsKeep up to date with developments in the industry and share internallyClientsProvide the best in class customer service on-site and remotelyBuild strong relationships with our clients and understand their needs and future event schedules, resulting in quality delivery and recurring businessMandatory experience requirements2-4+ years of AV production or broadcast industry experienceProficient in audio equipment; Allen & Heath, Yamaha, Sennheiser, etc.Ability to set up and ring out a PAKnowledge/understanding of wireless microphone systemsProficient in video equipment; Roland, Blackmagic Design, etc.Knowledge of different video standardsTechnical knowledge of common video equipment and common workflowsIdeal experience requirementsKnowledge and experience operating a variety of large and small-scale audio eventsExperience in streaming, vMix, RTMP, SRT, NDI, etc.Video cameras and film lighting knowledgeProficient in lighting equipment; uplighters, moving head, and stationary lightsThe offer:30,000 salary per annum (depending on experience)Bonus scheme: up to 10% of salary depending on company and individual performanceExtended Christmas holiday and birthday offSalary reviewed twice a yearRegular professional development opportunitiesRegular team socialsHybrid role - predominantly working in the office or on-site.Occasional working-from-home days are offeredHome office spending allowanceFriday lunch allowanceMonthly wellness allowanceFree daily coffee in the officeInterested?
