Job Opportunity: Air Conditioning Planned Maintenance EngineerLocation:Greater London Area (Inside or just outside the M25) Salary:£35,000 – £44,000 per year (based on experience and skills) Job Type:Full-time About the OpportunityOn behalf of our client, we are seeking an experiencedAir Conditioning Planned Maintenance Engineerto join a growing and reputable specialist company that prioritizes quality service, professionalism, and teamwork. This is a mobile role based across London and the Home Counties, with occasional travel to locations such as Cardiff and Stockport. Key ResponsibilitiesAs the Air Conditioning Planned Maintenance Engineer, you will: Carry outplanned maintenance and repairsfor a wide variety of air conditioning equipment, including VRV/VRF, split and multi-split systems, ventilation units, and fan coil units. Provide rapid response toclient emergenciesduring standard working hours and as part of an out-of-hours rota (every 6-7 weeks). Perform basicfault-finding and repair workon essential plant and equipment. Conductmaintenance and repairof refrigeration systems like walk-in fridges, freezers, and cold rooms (preferred). Deliver outstandingcustomer service , fostering positive client relationships and generating solid feedback. Ensure all work complies withindustry regulationsand meets safety standards. What We’re Looking ForTo thrive in this position, you’ll need to bring the following: Minimum Requirements:NVQ or City & Guilds Level 2 in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning. F-Gas Certification. Desirable:IPAF, PASMA, and Skillcard. Broad experience working with chillers, VRV/VRF systems, and air conditioning systems. A strong history ofcompetence, reliability, and integrity. A positive, proactive outlook with a focus onproblem-solvingand teamwork. The ability to provide professional references for at least three years of employment history. Your Daily ActivitiesA typical day in this role includes: Traveling to client sites across London and neighboring areas. Performing regularmaintenance checksand troubleshooting air conditioning equipment. Collaborating with a knowledgeable and cohesive team to solve technical challenges. Keeping your skills sharp withtraining and professional development programs. Representing the company with professionalism, technical expertise, and acustomer-first approach.
