This is a mid-level position where youll lead day-to-day account work and serve as a primary contact for clients. Your focus will be on guiding the team through daily assignments while supporting on the development of overarching strategies to support long-term account success.This position may also provide an introduction in overall account operations including budget management tied to scope of work, forecasting team hours and integration with other agency teams.What Youll Do- Act as day-to-day lead for smaller teams.- Develop strategic plans in collaboration with senior team; drive implementation with account team.- Drive day-to-day media strategy and implementation, tracking against KPIs.- Maintain relationships with media on behalf of clients and agency.- Manage the daily account workflow and oversee the entire team ensuring KPIs and deliverables are being met.- Identify opportunities for organic growth and provide recommendations to senior team.- Lead client meetings and presentations, as appropriate.- Adapt to evolving client priorities and adjust plans and activities accordingly.- Participate in new business by developing materials and playing an active role in presentations.- Provide framework for tracking and measuring client results, and report back to client with qualified recommendations.- Act in a supervisory role to junior account team providing consistent feedback, guidance and support.What Youll Need- Account Managers at Allison typically have a minimum of 5 years of experience.- Prior experience counseling clients and supporting in development of strategic plans.- Solution-oriented and creative-minded in delivering results.- A strong understanding of the UK media landscape and how to identify trends to secure media results.- Proven media relationships across consumer, lifestyle and national media.- Experience being an account lead/and or project lead, including leading junior employees.- Strong writer and editor.- Proficiency in using a media monitoring and data analytics tool like Roxhill, Critical Mention and Cision.- Skilled in Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel, alongside Zoom and Microsoft Teams.Additional Perks- Hybrid work environment with home and office schedule (3+ days in office per week) and work from anywhere weeks.- Comprehensive health benefits (healthcare, vision, dental).- Generous time off policies (unlimited paid time off, wellness days, wellness hours, summer Fridays).- Four-week sabbatical every five years of employment.- 20 weeks additional maternity pay and 6-week paternity leave.- Global mentorship and networking programs.- Volunteer hours (20 hours annually) for designated non-profit partner and personal choice.- Globally driven inclusive initiatives (Employee Advocacy Groups, equity committee).- Career growth opportunities, such as Allison University (multi-day customised trainings for each level).At Allison, Were different by design.Our founding vision was to create a positive and entrepreneurial environment where talented people thrive and creativity-killing bureaucracy doesnt.We celebrate inclusivity and are committed to providing an inclusive environment for our employees.
