With over 130 years of experience and more than 22,000 partners, we serve sophisticated clients using leading technology and exceptional service.Reporting to the Capital Markets Risk and Resiliency manager, this role supports Capital Markets Operational Resiliency and Third Party Risk programs within the Capital Markets business.The role involves interaction with the Asset Servicing Operational Resiliency office to ensure adherence to the Corporate Risk Policy and proper management, evidence, and escalation of Third Party risks.This position requires excellent communication skills and knowledge of the Capital Markets sector, with engagement across various organizational levels, including senior leadership.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform activities to align Operational Resiliency and Third Party Risk programs.Support regulatory and audit engagements related to Operational Resiliency and Third Party Risk, including remediation efforts.Analyze critical business services, define scope, assess vulnerabilities, develop mitigation plans, and test operational readiness.Assist in reviewing Third-Party Risk events and issues to ensure proper root cause analysis and remediation.Lead or support creation and recertification of Enterprise Critical Vendor exit strategies and tabletop exercises.Collaborate with legal, compliance, procurement, and business units to ensure vendor engagement compliance with risk frameworks and regulations.Participate in special projects to support the Capital Markets strategy.Knowledge/SkillsUnderstanding of operational resiliency, disaster/business recovery, business continuity, third-party vendor management, and risk policies.Strong understanding of Capital Markets is preferred.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.Proven track record of timely deliverables.Experience in operational resiliency, third-party risk management, or Capital Markets.Working with Us:Join Northern Trust and be part of a flexible, collaborative culture in a financially stable organization.
