Job DescriptionA international law firm is seeking a commercially astute Senior Associate to join its Real Estate team in London. Ranked in the Chambers and Partners Real Estate 150m+ category, the team is recognised for advising on some of the most significant and complex transactions in the market.The successful candidate will advise a diverse client base on high-value real estate matters, working closely with colleagues across planning, construction, finance, and corporate teams in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities: Drafting, advising and negotiating:Licences to assign, underlet, and for alterationsAgreements for lease (including those conditional on works or planning)Commercial leases for landlords (investment properties) and tenantsDeeds of variation and rent deposit deedsSale contracts for freehold and leasehold sites, including conditional and lease-backed salesSupporting portfolio sales including asset and share transactionsLiaising with lenders in relation to purchase financingSupervising and mentoring junior team membersCandidate Profile:Qualified solicitor with a minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience in commercial real estateExperience working in a top-tier real estate practice is highly desirableStrong technical knowledge and experience in drafting and negotiating a wide range of real estate documentsExcellent communication and client relationship skillsProven ability to manage complex transactions and supervise junior lawyers
