Impartial.Job descriptionOur Face-to-Face Fundraisers are a huge part of the MSF mission.Day to day, you will work in private sites (shopping centers/train stations) in and around London, inspiring individuals to join our campaign through long-term, regular donations.Throughout the year, we fundraise at events like Healthcare Shows, Christmas Markets, food and music festivals in London and around the UK.MSF isthe chosen charity for British Summer Time Hyde Park and the Brockwell Park Events, and over the years, we have also been on UK tours for artists such as: Muse, Ed Sheeran and Florence and Machine.We work in raising vital funds for the work that we and at the end of your shift, you are free to enjoy the festival/events with your team.Person specification 18+ Based in London Fluent in English Self-motivating and target driven Able to effectively communicate Always-learning attitudeRequirements Able to commit to at least 3 consecutive working days - 22.5 hours per week (if working part time) A genuine interest and passion about Medecins Sans Frontieres as a charitable organisation Commitment to the core values of MSF - Independent. Neutral. Impartial. Ability to adapt to a variety of environments Weekend availability Willing to travel outside of London when needed for festivals, events etc (any travel outside of London zones 1-6 - expenses are covered) Opportunity to work extra shifts - during festival season Good interpersonal skills with an ability to build relationships, rapport with supporters and work within a team environment Committed, reliable and resilient No Face-to-Face Fundraising experience is needed to apply - just a genuine passion for MSF and humanitarian workMain duties & responsibilities Build rapport and communicate effectively and accurately about MSF and its work, to inspire and motivate the public about MSF Represent MSF to the public in a positive and professional manner Have excellent time keeping Be responsible for the F2F equipment provided to you Be accountable for achieving daily goals or targets, in accordance with agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Undertake regular training in the London office to develop leadership skills Adhere to the guidelines of the IOF (Institute of Fundraising) and MSF policiesPay 14.70 per hour (during first 4-week induction period), non-negotiable 15.30 per hour (if induction period is passed), non-negotiable 3 paid induction training days (including a safeguarding training day) in the MSF UK office 1 paid team training day a month in the MSF UK officeThis role is target based. There is NO commission in this role.
