Plant Manager - Energy from Waste

Plant Manager very competitive Thetford MC Technical Recruitment is currently looking to recruit a Plant Manager for a Renewable Energy Power Station near Thetford . The main focus of this role will overseeing the safe operation, maintenance and management of the plant. Working closely with key stakeholders ensuring production is optimised in a safe environment, co-ordinating plans, budgets and reports and environmental responsibilities. As a Plant Manager you will be responsible for: Develop and deliver business plans for projects that align with company strategy. Monitor project progress, report on performance, and recommend corrective actions where needed. Oversee long-term asset performance, ensuring sustainable financial returns and operational resilience. Manage project operations, ensuring full compliance with Health & Safety, Environmental, Site Licence, and all relevant legislation. Drive operational efficiencies and identify synergies in processes, pricing, and service delivery. Lead and support a site management team, ensuring clear accountability and performance across functions. Inspire and develop a multi-functional, multi-site team, fostering engagement and continuous improvement. To be considered for this role you should have: Proven experience in power industry preferably renewable energy operations. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams. Strong Technical education, marine engineering/mechanical/electrical engineering. Commercially astute with experience in project budgeting, planning and reporting. A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a passion for sustainable energy.
