Production Shift Manager Kent 8am 8pm | 4 days on, 4 days off 38,000 42,000 DOE An established and fast-paced FMCG food manufacturing business in Kent is looking to appoint a Production Shift Manager to lead operations on shift within a high-volume production environment. This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for someone who thrives in a busy, ever-changing food & drink manufacturing setting and enjoys managing people as much as processes. The Role Lead, motivate, and manage Production Team Members on shift Ensure daily production targets, quality standards, and food safety requirements are met Drive performance, efficiency, and continuous improvement across the shift Maintain a safe, compliant, and well-organised production environment Act as the senior point of contact on shift, escalating issues where required About You Essential: Proven experience as a Shift Manager / Production Manager within Food & Drink or FMCG manufacturing Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment Strong people management skills with a confident, fair leadership style Desirable: Experience managing HR processes, including absence management, performance issues, and disciplinary procedures Able to lead by example and remain calm under pressure Whats on Offer Competitive salary of 38,000 42,000 , depending on experience 4 on / 4 off shift pattern offering excellent work-life balance Opportunity to join a well-established manufacturing operation with strong standards and pace Please note: Applications must come from candidates with Food & Drink or FMCG production experience.
