Job Title: Poultry Process Worker Abattoir Operative Location: Outskirts of Wellington, Somerset Salary: 12.60/hr (training rate) rising to 14/hr after 12 weeks (permanent placement) Hours: 6:00am start until finish (approx. 6:00pm) Working Days: Monday, Thursday & Friday Transport: Own transport essential due to rural location Join Our Poultry Processing Team! We're seeking dedicated Abattoir Operatives to support our poultry processing operations in a physically demanding but rewarding environment. Key Responsibilities: Preparing birds for processing De-feathering and handling carcasses Hanging birds onto automated machinery Maintaining hygiene and safety standards throughout This role requires stamina, focus, and a strong attention to detail. You'll be part of a fast-moving team where efficiency and collaboration are essential.
