Job DescriptionVP / Associate Legal Counsel (4+ PQE) Wealth ManagementLocation: City of LondonPractice Area: Financial Services / Banking & Finance / RegulatoryContract Type: PermanentSalary: 110,000 to 150,000 and bonusA prestigious global financial institution is seeking a transactional and regulatory lawyer to join its Wealth Management legal team, supporting its EMEA private banking division. This is a rare opportunity to join a high-performing legal function at a firm renowned for its sophisticated client base, innovative products, and global reach.The RoleYou will be advising the Wealth Management business on a broad range of lending and deposit products, including:Structuring and documenting securities-based loans, consumer loans, regulated mortgages, deposits, and more complex asset-backed and real estate financings.Providing regulatory advice on issues including consumer protection, licensing, e-money requirements, collateral enforceability, and security registration.Supporting regulatory implementation projects across the UK, EU, and Switzerland.Advising on new product launches, platform development, and business transformation initiatives.About YouUK-qualified solicitor (or equivalent) with a minimum of 4 years post-qualification experience.Solid grounding in transactional finance and/or financial services regulatory law.Experience advising on lending products or working in a private wealth or retail banking context would be advantageous.Strong commercial judgement, attention to detail, and confidence operating in a dynamic, cross-border environment.Why Apply?This is a fantastic opportunity to join the legal team of one of the most respected names in global financial services.
