Its a chance to own the end-to-end lifecycle of orbital data, transforming raw telemetry into the actionable insights our global clients depend on.If you are ready to define the digital economy of the stars from the heart of London, your next mission starts here.The RoleThe successful applicant will join our Data & Services team to lead global Space Data as a Service (SDaaS) delivery for commercial and government partners. You are the vital link between our Business Units and technical teams, ensuring complex orbital projects move from "sold" to "delivered" on time and on budget.The Impact:Translate sales inputs into clear technical requirements, managing budgets, schedules, and resource plans.Ensure a seamless post-sale transition, managing customer expectations and securing renewals through elite service quality.Work with Product Managers to de-risk projects while maintaining a focused, calm environment in a high-speed sector.You will be a customer-focused leader from a complex technical background. Knowledge of geospatial data or satellite systems is a major plus.Based in London (Hybrid), youre ready for regular global travel to support our expanding satellite constellations.Please note that in future, you may be required to complete a Basic Disclosure checkKey Responsibilities:Collaborating with the sales team to ensure a seamless transition for the customer from pre- to post-sale engagementCollaborating with the sales team to renew existing customer contracts.Work with technical managers to maintain delivery schedules across a portfolio of commercial subscriptions and development projects.Ensure that all new orders have a clean handover from the sales team and there is an effective kick-off with each customer.Refine and oversee consistent processes for commercial service customer management.Strengthen and maintain customer relationshipsManage external suppliers used in service delivery, placing orders and tracking material costs.Schedule and lead customer review meetings.Manage small projects for commercial product development with grant support.Liaise with finance to ensure timely invoicing.Oversee customer helpdesk management for user queries and issues.Track and report portfolio-wide KPIs on a weekly basis, working with technical teams to make performance data readily available.Respond to customer feedback and escalate concerns where necessary.Identify opportunities for improvement and work with product managers to prioritise these.Skills required:Relevant degree or equivalent work experienceCustomer-focused with a sound commercial awareness and demonstrable experience of client managementAbility to work with and manage resources, stakeholder and customers to address expectations in line with priorities and quality standardsPrior experience in a context with Remote Sensing and/or Geospatial dataExperience of understanding and applying contractual requirementsExperience of managing suppliersBasic understanding of business finance including revenue recognition and cash flowStrong analytical and decision-making skills, with a systems mindset.Calm and effective under pressure; resilient in dynamic environments; able to prioritise workload.Demonstrates sound judgement and resilience in dynamic, time-constrained environments.Maintain accountability for your work while contributing to a supportive and inclusive team culture.Proactive and driven to solve problems both independently and collaboratively.Adaptable and quick to learn new software and tools.Highly organised and detail-oriented, to ensure accurate work and record keepingClear and confident communicatorSkills desired:Knowledge of project management methodologies.GIS software skills.Experience working with command line interfacesFamiliarity with the space industry.Previous experience working with small/medium sized companies.ABOUT AAC CLYDE SPACEAAC Clyde Space, a leading New Space company,specialises in small satellite technologies and services that enable businesses,governments,and educational organisations to access high-quality, timely data from space.This data has a vast range of applications, from weather forecasting to precision farming to environmental monitoring, and is essential to improving our quality of life on Earth.Our growing capabilities bring together three divisions:Space Data as a Service delivering data from space directly to customersSpace missions turnkey solutions that empower customers to streamline their space missionsSpace products and components a full range of off-the-shelf and tailor-made subsystems, components, and sensorsAAC Clyde Space aims to become a world leader in commercial small satellites and services from space, applying advances in its technology to tackle global challenges and improve our life on Earth.Some of our clients includeHorizon Technologies,Orbcomm,OHB Sweden,Intuitive Machines,Orbital Micro Systems, theUnited States Airforce Academy,UK Space Agency,European Space AgencyandNASA.AAC Clyde Space Group consists of the parent company AAC Clyde Space AB (publ) and subsidiaries in Sweden, the UK, the Netherlands, South Africa and the USA.
