Job DescriptionAssociate Insurance Disputes | 12-Month FTC | London (Hybrid)We are working with a leading law firm to hire an Associate into its London-based Insurance Disputes team on a 12-month fixed-term contract.This role offers exposure to an exceptional range of high-profile, complex insurance matters. You will work across coverage and liability defence, engaging directly with Lloyds market clients, insurers, reinsurers, and MGAs. The caseload includes matters involving property damage, cyber, D&O, credit & political risk, professional indemnity, and other specialty lines. What You'll Be DoingAdvising on policy interpretation, subrogation, and liability defenceActing for insurers in disputes involving professional services (e.g. legal, financial, and construction sectors)Collaborating with multiple partners on complex and high-value mattersManaging a diverse and fast-paced workload in a supportive, team-driven environment What We're Looking ForStrong insurance disputes experience (particularly in coverage and/or professional indemnity)Solid understanding of the London insurance market and Lloyds structureExcellent drafting, communication, and negotiation skillsComfortable working across different matter types and with multiple stakeholdersA team player who can manage time effectively and contribute to mentoring junior colleagues Flexible Working This role offers hybrid working arrangements and would suit someone looking to deepen their experience in a well-regarded insurance disputes practice with a national and international client base.If you would like to be considered please send your CV to [email protected]
