This role will be focussed on providing the very best care for our children, ensuring their individual needs are met in a group setting. /n /n Key Deliverables: /n /n Operational Excellence /n /n Work as part of a close-knit team in a child-centred environment where the children are cared for in a safe, loving and stimulating way /n To be familiar with, and act according to, safeguarding guidelines /n Responsible for the safety, security and well-being of all children attending the setting /n Responsible for ensuring regular communication and interaction with parents to update them on their child’s progress /n Responsible for supervising children at play indoor and outdoor, and at mealtimes to ensure safety /n Provide an enhanced mealtime experience for the children, ensuring that any food that is served is being monitored and conforming to Food Safety regulations /n Take responsibility for a planned programme of activities for the children, following the EYFS framework /n To take charge of own key worker group and inform parents and other colleagues of any other relevant information /n Responsible for maintaining children’s records, inclusive of observations and their next steps /n Responsible for ensuring cleanliness of room is of a high standard and toys and equipment are properly cleaned and maintained /n/n /n /n Culture Champion /n /n Contributing to a positive and collaborative work environment /n Be a reliable member of the team working cooperatively and with flexibility /n Be a role model to all colleagues /n Being a proud and enthusiastic colleague /n/n /n What you’ll need to succeed: /n /n A passion and dedication to providing world-class care to children /n To hold a full and relevant early years qualification of Level 3 or above /n It is a requirement to have at least a level 5 (Grade C) in GCSE Maths and English /n Prior experience of working with children aged 3 months to 5 years /n Strong communication and interpersonal skills /n Strong desire to learn & grow within your role /n/n /n What we offer: /n /n Competitive salary /n Company pension scheme /n VIVUP benefits package including retail discounts and wellbeing support /n Access your pay as you earn it /n Free parking on site /n Childcare discount /n Ongoing CPD and training and development programs designed to support professional and personal growth /n Company Events such as summer and winter parties /n Celebration of individual’s life events /n Additional recognition programmes /n/n /n /n/n/n /n /n Applicants will need to show they have the right to work in the United Kingdom and the successful candidate will be subject to a DBS, reference and social media checks. /n /n /n/n
