Locum Medical Oncologist in Urology and AOS | The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust

This post will support the treatment of bladder and prostate patients under the care of the uro‑oncology team in Sutton and also at the Royal Marsden satellite unit in Kingston. The post holder will be expected to play a pivotal role in the Acute Oncology Service at Kingston NHS Trust. ResponsibilitiesParticipate in and support the Royal Marsden Urology multidisciplinary care team, including Clinical and Medical Oncologists, Surgeons, junior team members, Specialist Nursing Staff, Radiographers, and Macmillan support workers. Contribute to research activity. Participate in each multidisciplinary meeting. Provide clinical leadership and support for effective development of the services and attend operational meetings as a senior medical team member. Contribute to the development of departmental objectives and business plan, and manage resources within the approved plan. Take an active part in the leadership and administration of the clinical service. Work closely with consultant colleagues in other oncology services within RM Partners and participate in relevant pathway groups where required. Act as a member of the Cancer Services Division and report to the Divisional Director for Cancer Services.
