Clinical Use Case Specialist Digital Health Permanent | UK-wide | Remote with NHS site travel Confidential Employer | Fast-Growth SME (30+ headcount) Are you an experienced NHS Acute clinician with a passion for digital transformation? This rapidly scaling digital health SME (7080% year-on-year growth) is expanding its clinical product team and is seeking a Clinical Use Case Specialist to help shape the future of clinical communication and digital workflows across UK hospitals. The Opportunity In this role, you will evaluate how digital clinical communication tools are used in real-world NHS settings, identify workflow pain points, and develop new clinical use cases that improve safety, efficiency, and patient outcomes. Youll work directly with frontline clinicians, informatics teams, product, and engineering to refine and evolve digital pathways used across large Acute trusts. Key Responsibilities Evaluate real-world clinical usage, uncovering gaps, inefficiencies and opportunities within hospital workflows Refine existing digital pathways and shape new use cases across different clinical areas Ensure clinical safety, compliance, governance and alignment with NHS policy and standards Work across clinical, product, and technical teams to influence roadmap and feature prioritisation Conduct clinical and user research to understand needs, behaviours and pain points Use data and analytics to measure success, adoption, and clinical benefit Build clinical credibility and trusted relationships across NHS Acute trusts Essential Experience ? Must have worked within a large NHS Acute Hospital ? Strong understanding of NHS clinical workflows, clinical risk, governance and safety ? Experience digitising clinical pathways or delivering digital transformation in healthcare ? Health informatics, clinical informatics, or digital clinical workflow experience ? Experience working with multi-disciplinary clinical and technical teams ? Understanding of interoperability standards (FHIR, HL7), data governance and NHS policy ? Product, programme or service improvement experience in a clinical-digital environment Nice to Have Clinical background (doctor, nurse, AHP) Experience with clinical decision support, EPR integration or safety-critical tools Evidence of measurable impact (e.g., workflow improvement, cost savings, outcome gains) Why Join?
