As an Early Years Teaching Assistant / Early Years Practitioner, you will work closely with an Early Years Teacher and another Teaching Assistant to provide high-quality care and education for a small group of two- to four-year-olds. This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same. You will help create a safe, calm and engaging environment where children feel confident, curious and supported. Key Responsibilities Support children's personal, social and emotional development. Help maintain a positive, predictable and safe learning environment. Assist with observations and assessments in line with the EYFS. Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and statutory guidance at all times. Work closely with colleagues on planning, learning activities and routines. Communicate clearly and sensitively with parents and carers. Support children with transitions and any additional needs. The Person We are looking for an Early Years Teaching Assistant / Early Years Practitioner who: Has experience working with children under five. Holds GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths at grade 4/C or above. Understands the Early Years Foundation Stage framework. Communicates clearly with children, parents and colleagues. Works well as part of a team and remains calm under pressure. Takes pride in high standards and attention to detail.
