In return you will be rewarded with a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package including a pension scheme, life insurance, medical insurance, eye care vouchers and flexible benefits including critical illness cover, dental cover and many other options.The RoleAs a Healthcare Consultant, you will provide healthcare consulting advice and support to a portfolio of corporate clients, consisting of both community and experience rated private medical insurance schemes, as well as other health related benefits.You will also work in conjunction with senior consultants supporting on project work as well as delivery of services to our larger and more complex clients.Provide consultative advice to clients around the financing, design, delivery and ongoing management of their health-related benefit programmes.Interact effectively with carriers, clients and other stakeholders both internally and externallyForming part of account teams, ensuring quality standards and deadlines are met at all timesDeliver on projects to meet or exceed client expectationsIncrease efficiency within client teams by identifying ways to improve processesAnalysis of data to draw conclusions and identify trends in a logical, systematic wayConduct benchmarking studies and other research; provide value added analyses and summariesAnalyse and compare carrier products, services and contractsCollate and prepare client deliverablesBuild strong relationships internally and collaborate effectivelyDemonstrate natural ease and effectiveness when dealing with clients/colleagues at all levelsAbility to ask the right questions and seek help where appropriateMeet chargeable hours targetsContribute to sales and marketing efforts QualificationsThe RequirementsTechnical knowledge regarding health-related benefit programmes, including private medical insurance as well as other areas such as dental, travel, health cash plans, personal accident and Employee Assistance ProgrammesAn understanding and appreciation of broader employee health, risk and wellbeing issues, ideally gained at a brokerage firm or insurance companyA consultative styleWell organised and detail oriented (being able to both plan and communicate efficiently).Strong written and verbal communication skillsPresentation skillsFlexibility and proven ability to diagnose and resolve issues, strong client service orientationAbility to work both independently and on client teams and enjoy a fast-paced environmentSense of accountability and ownership in delivering to clientsSelf-starter and willingness to adapt to changeInterest and ability to think beyond the task at hand and understand how work fits into the broader landscapeExcellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Word, PowerPoint and ExcelAt WTW, we believe difference makes us stronger.
