Bespoke Cabinet & Furniture Maker Kent 33,000 36,500 per annum (depending on experience) Our client is a well-established, high-end furniture manufacturer based in Ashford, Kent. With a 25,000 sq ft purpose-built workshop and a reputation for delivering premium bespoke pieces, they produce exceptional fitted and freestanding furniture for a discerning customer base. They are now looking to expand their team with an experienced Cabinet Maker / Furniture Maker who is passionate about quality and craftsmanship. This is a hands-on position suited to someone with a strong background in bespoke joinery and a sharp eye for detail. The successful applicant will be responsible for building ultra-high-end furniture to precise specifications, using a mix of traditional joinery methods and modern manufacturing techniques. Key duties will include: Interpreting technical drawings and specifications to construct bespoke furniture Working with a range of materials including solid timber, veneer, and sheet goods Maintaining a high standard of finishing, including surface prep and assembly Collaborating with colleagues across the workshop and operational teams Maintaining a tidy and safe work environment Supporting innovation through new techniques and material use Requirements: Strong experience in high-end cabinet making or furniture production Skilled in both hand tools and woodworking machinery Confident reading and working from detailed technical drawings Solid understanding of joinery techniques and fabrication A keen eye for quality, accuracy, and finishing Able to work both independently and as part of a wider team Whats on offer: Competitive salary: 33,000 36,500 depending on experience 40-hour working week, Monday to Friday (early Friday finish) Company pension scheme Private medical insurance (for employees) Free on-site parking Paid overtime (by prior agreement) Paid tea breaks, company workwear, and PPE Additional holiday incentives based on service and attendance This is an excellent opportunity to join a quality-driven manufacturer with an outstanding workshop environment, supportive culture, and varied, rewarding projects.
