The company's brands include Domino, C&H, Redpath, Tate & Lyle, Lyles, and Sidul.OverviewThe primary purpose of the Packing Department Manager (White Sugar) is to safely and hygienically manage cost-efficient packing of all products within the White Sugar Packing Department, ensuring quality and quantity targets are met to fulfill customer and marketing requirements.ResponsibilitiesManage safety, hygiene, environment, and quality in line with T&L Sugars Management Systems to promote continuous improvement.Achieve high OEE at minimum cost by effectively managing packing and support resources, including improving changeover processes and reducing downtime.Ensure customer requirements are met through planned production and timely shipment.Collaborate with the Packing Maintenance Department Manager to develop maintenance and spares strategies for OEE improvements.Maintain service level relationships with support functions such as Refining, Quality, and Purchasing.Develop organizational structure and personnel aligned with business needs.Control packing costs and budgets.Coordinate with Sales, Marketing, and Planning to optimize supply solutions, including support for new product introductions and contract packers.Required ExperienceExperience in commercial management and budget control.Understanding of packing principles.Management experience in safety, hygiene, environment, and quality.Progression in departmental management within a blue-chip manufacturing environment.Significant change management experience.Continuous improvement initiatives experience.EducationTechnical graduate (preferably engineering) or equivalent experience in packing operations.At Tate & Lyle Sugars, our goal is to be the most admired sweetener company, emphasizing service excellence, efficiency, sustainability, and creating strategic value through talent and culture.Additional DetailsSeniority level: Mid-Senior levelEmployment type: ContractJob function: ManagementIndustries: RetailThis job is currently active and accepting applications. #J-18808-Ljbffr
