The main duties and responsibilities of this role are:Support the Head Chef in all culinary operations, ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation.Collaborate on the creation and updating of menus, including daily specials, seasonal dishes, and event-specific offerings, emphasizing innovation and luxury.Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth workflow and efficient service, while maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.Lead, train, and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive work atmosphere, and ensuring adherence to hotel policies and culinary standards.Conduct regular quality checks on dishes and ingredients, ensuring consistency, taste, and presentation meet the hotel's luxury standards.Monitor and manage inventory levels, placing orders as needed, and ensuring cost-effective use of resources while minimizing wasteAbout you:The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:Completion of a formal culinary education program from a recognized institution, such as a culinary arts degree or diploma.A minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in high-end hotel kitchens.Proven expertise in a wide range of cooking techniques and cuisines, with a strong emphasis on fine dining and sophisticated food presentation.Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience in managing and mentoring kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance team environment.Experience in menu planning and development, showcasing creativity and innovation while maintaining high standards of quality and consistency.About the Benefits:Besides generous F&B benefits and reduced hotel rates across our hotels globally, this role has excellent employee benefits making the role attractive to high performers and any applicant who like to associate her/himself with one of the most luxurious brands in the hospitality industry.
