Electrical Shift Leader

Electrical Shift Leader Farringdon 58,000 - 60,000 We are currently recruiting for an experienced Shift Leader to join the on-site engineering team at a prestigious commercial site in Central London. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven individual with strong technical knowledge and leadership skills to play a vital role in a fast-paced, client-facing environment. The Role: As Shift Leader, you'll be responsible for overseeing a team of engineers and ensuring the smooth running of all building services. You'll be the key point of contact for HV operations, day-to-day maintenance, and client interaction. Your Responsibilities Will Include: Leading shift operations and supervising engineers on planned and reactive tasks Managing high-voltage systems including issuing permits, writing switching schedules, and overseeing safe isolation procedures Conducting PPMs and reactive maintenance on a variety of M&E systems, including: Air handling units (AHUs) Fan coil units (FCUs) Pumps, motors, and valves BMS controls Lighting and emergency lighting Generators and UPS systems Monitoring site performance through SCADA and BMS systems Logging and tracking works via CAFM systems Supporting client meetings, reporting site updates, and ensuring SLA compliance Mentoring junior engineers and helping to develop team capabilities What We're Looking For: Experience in a similar Shift Leader or Senior Engineer role within a commercial building environment Strong understanding of HVAP systems a current or recently expired HV ticket is acceptable, and full HV re-certification will be provided Confident working in a client-facing role, able to communicate clearly and professionally Proficient in CAFM systems and Microsoft Office Familiarity with SCADA/BMS systems and Genie Evo (preferred) What You'll Get in Return: 58,000 - 60,000 total salary Continental Shift, Days & Nights 7-7 20 days holiday (on shift pattern) Pension package Career progression opportunities within a large and growing building services provider Support with HV re-certification and ongoing professional development The chance to work on a flagship Central London site in a stable, high-performing team If you're ready to take the lead on a prestigious site and bring your expertise to a forward-thinking company that values development and progression, we'd love to hear from you.
